MANDATRIX will be your Authorized Representative if you want to sell for example:
Furniture, such as chairs, tables, sofas, beds, wardrobes
Interior accessories, such as candles, vases, frames, pillows
Kitchen and tableware, such as pans, forks and knives, mixing bowls and accessories
Lighting, such as lamps and ceiling lights
Pet products, such as toys, beds, bowls and leashes
Clothing & footwear, such as jackets, shirts, pants and shoes
Baby products, such as cribs, strollers and highchairs
Stationery, such as staplers, scissors, notebooks and pens
Recreational items, such as puzzles, boardgames, playing cards, frisbees and kites
Automotive accessories, such as mats, chargers, roof racks and seat covers
Seasonal decorations, such as lights and decorations
Fitness equipment, such as treadmills, dumbbells, exercise mats, bicycles, tennis rackets and resistance bands

AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE - Case 2
Keep documentation:
If you are an EU manufacturer or importer, you are not required to appoint an Authorised Representative, as you would already be acting as the responsible person.
However, you may still hire an Authorised Representative to perform specified tasks such as:
Keep the products’ technical documentation for a period of at least 10 years
Provide documentation:
Provide the Authorities, upon their request, with all information and documentation necessary to demonstrate the safety of the product
Notify risks:
If there are reasons to believe that a product is dangerous, inform the manufacturer thereof, as well as the Authorities. For example, immediately inform the manufacturer of any complaints and reports from consumers regarding presumed incidents
Take action when necessary:
Cooperate with the Authorities and keep the Authorities informed on any action taken to eliminate the risks, including product recalls
According to Article 10 of the GPSR - General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 10 May 2023 which came into effect on December 13th, 2024), a Manufacturer who is not established in the UE, but who wants to sell its products in the UE, has to appoint an Authorized Representative that will perform certain tasks in order to ensure the safety of its products.
The Authorized Representative will act as a responsible person and must:
Verify documentation:
Verify that the technical documentation has been drawn up and contains, as applicable, an analysis of possible risks, as well as the list of any relevant standards, including any declaration of Conformity
Verify the information on the product:
Verify that the product identification (type, batch or serial number) as well as the contact details of the manufacturer and the Authorized Representative accompany the product
Verify that the instructions and safety information (if applicable) are provided
Keep documentation:
Keep the products’ technical documentation for a period of at least 10 years
